I took my daughter to him twice (at 6 weeks and at 4 months) for hip dislocation concern. He missed the diagnosis TWICE. Due to my motherly instinct, I took her to another doctor in Houston for second opinion and they instantly confirmed she has hip dislocation. I WOULD NOT recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Souder is amazing. He takes his time to listen our concerns and does not let his ego get in his way of treating his patients. My son has been going to him since he was an infant and I refuse to go see any other specialist besides him.

we took our 14 month old daughter to see Dr. Souder and she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. we wish that our pediatrician had caught it sooner so i think it was a pretty clear case once we came to CTPO. he was an excellent listener, very thorough with his examinations, answered all our questions at every step as best he could and felt as comfortable as we could making decisions throughout process of learning to surgery and recovery. During surgery there were two different types she could get, where we opted for closed and let him make a gametime decision based on his experience - and she ended up having to get open. could tell there was genuine care throughout the whole process and our little lady is recovering really well. he has some custom spica desk/chair he gave us (enough that he doesn't want them back haha) to aide in the recovery which was extremely clutch in her recovery process to sit in since the cast is tough for the little kiddos to sit in. overall incredibly grateful we had him as a surgeon.

Dr. Souder surgically repaired a severe arm fracture in my then 10-year old son. My husband is In medicine and has seen Dr Sounders work - he knew we were in awesome hands. He operated immediately even though you often have to wait overnight for these things. Hes extremely knowledgeable, personable and knows his craft. Thanks, Dr. Souder!
