Regarding my care: I came in unable to bend my knee with swelling and bruising after an injury. I was sent home with ace bandage wrap even though there was obvious ligament/soft tissue damage and my knee was unsteady. Nothing was given to help support my knee or to help prevent further damage. No knee brace, crutches, etc. Only after an MRI and a week of waiting for another appointment was I given an actual knee brace. I ended up having a torn meniscus and high-grade MCL strain. My instructions were to wear the knee brace for 4-6 weeks and if the knee was still hurting after that to contact "A DIFFERENT DOCTOR". Why, if I need to see another doctor to repair my knee, would you have taken me on as a patient in the first place?!? Also, they did not prescribe any physical therapy to help regain movement or strengthen the knee. And for my 4-6 weeks of walking around on my damaged knee I was given 5 days worth of Tylenol 3 with zero refills. I came to this office first, referred directly to them by my primary care physician, and I was treated like some opioid pill chaser.
This place doesn't give a damn about you or your recovery. Stay away! Thankfully I went and saw 3 other orthopedists (the actual doctors) who all had actual approaches to repair and recovery.
