I've lived @ the light tower location on Patton lane for over a year and a half. I believe we've gone through 2 managers. Jeanette is who we have now. And since she took over my location has gotten cleaner, safer, and over all better. If and when I have a maintenance request they are usually answered within a day or two. When I have questions or concerns I get a quick reply and an honest one. She has made my stay here home and stress free. I don't plan on leaving unless I buy a house. This place is definitely my long term home till then. Thank you to Jeanette and her team for all you do. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely shameful property management. They knowingly rented me a unit in a property infested with German roaches and rodents, and offered no solutions or intentions of fixing. After reporting the infestations to the City of Austin, they agreed to release me from the lease contract. Do not be fooled by the "newly renovated" marketing BS, they are literal slumlords.

A beautiful remodeled apartment! The property is constantly getting better. We finally have a manager that listens to us. Thank you Janette! When we put a request in the company gets on top of it! I love living here! Mueller Square Apartments finally feels like home.

We've lived at our apartment for three months, and ever since Jeannette took over things have been running so smoothly. At the beginning we had some issues, but Jeannette always responds quickly and gets the issue addressed right away. She is compassionate and understanding about how frustrating living issues can be, and she quickly resolves both minor and major problems. In my experience, this company hires competent and caring property managers who work hard for their community. Austin living can be difficult and issues will arise, so what matters most to me is having a property manager who listens to and addresses your concerns in a timely manager. We have found that in Rastegar and especially in Jeannette Rodriguez.

Review for one of Rastegar's properties (Mueller Square): The units themselves are great, but management and ownership has been terrible ever since I moved in. On move-in day a few months ago I couldn't get ahold of anyone to even let me in to the apartment. A tree had also fallen right in front of my door, blocking entry for several apartments, and that didn't get handled for a couple of weeks. I have had constant issues with water being shut off unexpectedly, and right now the communal water heater (?!) is broken so NO ONE HAS HAD HOT WATER for almost 3 weeks. A few weeks ago my keypad buttons stopped working (presumably because of the heat) and I couldn't get in to my apartment all day. Trying to get ahold of the maintenance request line was a nightmare even though it was an EMERGENCY. They even asked if I would pay them $200 to let me in as if the lockout was my fault. Maintenance finally showed up and ended up having to replace the entire thing with a regular key lock because they couldn't find the spare key that should have been given to me during move-in. Moving on to the communal spaces - there's broken glass, construction debris (inside the apartment as well), and dog poop everywhere. My dog has already cut herself on a walk. Security is non-existent and I'll frequently see people who are homeless walking around the premises and hanging out/sleeping at the pool. What is the point of having gates if they're constantly being propped open and locks are broken? Never mind that they promised to install camera door bells months ago and I've yet to see any. We're getting charged an insane amount for utilities ($40+ for trash pickup and $30+ for sewer?!) that make no sense. If you're fine with dealing with all these issues yourself, then move here. But it is not worth the potentially cheaper rent in my opinion. Almost forgot: the electrical work in the apartments is extremely sketchy. For example, I cannot use my oven and microwave at the same time. If I do, the power to my entire apartment shuts off and I have to run out and reset the main circuit breaker. How is having an oven and microwave running overloading it already?
