        Booked a month in advance and they canceled our reservation without an explanation. Unbelievable.

        The Wyndham Austin is a very nice resort with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. With a location just a couple of blocks from 6th street and walking distance from many of the downtown icons of Austin. I look forward to staying there again. The signs say that they are going to start renovations.

        I have stayed at many other Wyndham resorts and never had an issue until now. Booked a certain room through Wyndham website and did not get the room that was booked . I was told the room I booked on the website that they didnt have a room like that and that they would need to contact Wyndham to fix the site. To come all the way out here and be downgraded and told the rooms similar are all dirty. ALL DIRTY!!! Youre telling me on Good Friday yall didnt prepare to have yalls rooms clean and ready to go. Thats bad management. Even the people promoting to go to the presentations for Wyndham were NO help. You also have to pay $35 a day for parking. Will be contacting corporate office for this is ridiculous knowing the amount of money that is paid to be a member. Margaret at the front desk was very apologetic which this is absolutely all on the company. If you plan to downgrade someones room let them know a head of time. Stop false advertising on your website.
