I followed Oz here, and oh my gosh I love this new space. Theyre amazingly talented, a blast to chat with when youre in the chair for 4 hours, and the saaaaaalon Cozy, but airy and spacious. So much greenery. Honestly I wish I lived in it. Specialties: Im a vivid hair girl, and they can knock vibrant colors out of the park. Hair type: I feel like I learn so much about my curly hair every time. Oz actually took time to teach me how to properly style my new cut. Stylist: Oz is amazingly talented and a blast to chat with when youre in the chair for 4 hours.

Shag Noir Salon is awesome. It is such a welcoming and comfortable place. I have fairly long hair and I love vivid colors, which doesn't always mix. Oz has been amazing at getting the bright colors of my dreams while maintaining the health of my hair. I highly recommend them!

This is a lovely, dare I say Zen, little studio tucked into E 6th St. My stylist (and surrogate son) Oz is insanely talented. His hair color skills are fabulous. Come here. You won't be disappointed!

Ive come here twice to get my hair colored (platinum blonde) and Ive left incredibly fulfilled and satisfied each time. Theres a clear and intent focus here on the science of ones hair which makes each experience unique and tailored to ones specific hair texture and ultimate desired outcome. Their opinions are always with your best interest in mind - I stopped by once thinking I needed a touch up and they said, save the money, I think youre good. Try this product for right now and come back in a few weeks to do the full thing. No markups, all love. And on top of the exceptional quality of the end result with my hair, the space is incredibly inclusive and welcoming to all types of clients. Its a highlight of my day when I stop by here and is undoubtedly my go-to for hair coloring.
