We had them install LVP through our whole house, do the kitchen backsplash, and re-carpet our staircase. I wouldnt use them again. Their products are ok, not great but not low quality either. Their LVP install was bad. They didnt do any underlayment anywhere. It echoes all over our first and second floors and there are air pockets and creaking planks everywhere in each room, they should have done an underlayment. Also in one bedroom they didnt do the flooring close enough to the wall so there is a gap after the trim got put on, in one closet you can feel a large air pocket under the flooring. Their kitchen backsplash install was sloppy. They installed some bad tile, bad grout where you can see large holes to the wall and the overall wall isnt flat. I had their guy come back to fix things including replacing a badly cut tile and he just put more grout over it. I didnt want him coming back a third time. The carpet install on our staircase was well done though.

I had AFF South install ~1400 sqft of hardwood flooring + baseboards in April '22. I spoke with 5+ different flooring companies and went with AFF South because they were able to quickly find the product I was looking for when other companies weren't able to. Product variation was one of my main concerns and they ordered a full box so I could get a better sense of exactly what to expect. Victor was the TL of the install crew. The installation went smoothly, starting and finishing exactly on schedule and on budget. The bid that I originally received represented exactly what I paid, so it was refreshing that there was no price creep. I would use this company again for future projects.

Austin Fine Floors installed wood floors throughout my home, tile flooring, and created a new shower in an area that was a soaker tub. AND, they also handled remodeling the rest of the areas that needed attention. The knowledge and character of Ryan Drouin and the craftsmanship of the work completed sets them apart from other flooring/ remodeling companies. Here is an example: I had flooring from another well known company and the work doesnt even come close in quality. The previous floor had a transition strip around the fireplace surround because the installation was uneven. Austin Fine Floors installation is precise and no transition is used. The tile work of the previous company was sloppy around the perimeter of the room so that a shoe moulding was needed. AFF tile installation was straight and close to the wall. No shoe moulding was needed. AFF came in after mold remediation was complete so some special things needed to be done and I had requested non toxic building materials and installation. Ryan worked with the situation and they did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Austin Fine Floors. You wont find more honest and hard working people. The integrity, quality of materials, and craftsmanship should be the gold standard of how work is done. Craftsmanship and quality for the win!
