Uptown Suites Extended Stay Austin TX - Round Rock

This place was a godsend during a time where I didn't have a stable place to live. The staff were incredibly kind and willing to go the extra mile if they could. The housekeeping staff work their tails off and they're all just wonderful at what they do. Lourdes especially. She's just the best, and she gives great hugs! :) You can also have your mail and Amazon packages delivered to the hotel, which was super convenient too. If I had the chance to stay here again, I would. Just beware of power outages during nasty weather, as can happen in Texas. Also also, huge shoutout to Jonathan for improving upon already stellar service by all of the hotel staff. Thanks to all of you for being a safe port during an extended storm. - Penny W. Rooms: While you could hear noise in the other rooms and in the hallway, there weren't many incidents that I had to call the front desk about. The rooms are kept clean by the amazing housekeeping staff, who are also super friendly and accomodating to those of us with pets. Safety: As other reviews have pointed out, it's not the greatest area of southern Round Rock/northern Pflugerville, but it's not the worst. Just practice not leaving valuables in your vehicle and locking it, and you should be fine. Food & drinks: While there's only snacks and drinks in the lobby vending machines, there's a wealth of good places to eat/grab coffee/buy groceries in the area. There's a smaller HEB on FM 1825, but I personally recommend the HEB Plus on Louis Henna Blvd. I got many grocery deliveries from this store with minimal order issues. I also highly recommend Market Street Pizza, Wise Guys, and Duck Donuts. Noteworthy details: While this is an extended stay hotel with a two burner induction stove, a microwave, and a full sized refrigerator/freezer, the hotel doesn't provide dishes/utensils/dishwashing soap. I happened to have these items since I was out of my apartment for an extended period of time due to the 2021 ice storm. Also - while the free Wifi isn't the best, it's serviceable for regular usage of the web/streaming services.

Very nice staff and clean Nearby activities: Shopping and Food place Safety: Very clean environment from the time I stepped in the door to the washroom to my room people are not hanging out in the parking lot you feel safe you don't have anyone filing behind you I would recommend this place to any one of my friends or family members and I would stay there again Jonathan and his staff was very nice

Mr. Warren and *all* the staff are very nice and I must give a shoutout to Diana and Dmar! They are always easy to reach, super nice, and know a lot about balances estimating etc and are just awesome great genuine people! The bed is comfortable, I love we can cook in there, theres a snack and soda vending so you dont have to worry about traveling for a snack BUT the parking lot can get you to McDobalds and a 24/7 corner store!! Public transit is available and I cannot emphasize how nice the staff is. Rooms are very clean. Pet friendly! The monthly rate is also among the cheapest around and Ive called or looked up many many other extended stays. The two female concierge are both extremely nice and the night guy is awesome! Plenty of lighting, great AC/heater, huge walk in shower, theyll wash your dirty towels and replace them, and its just a great place! Ive made friends here and have been here for a month. I plan to stay as long as I need! Oh! And the school bus comes around so if youre planning to stay really long, the high school in this region is great as is the elementary and middle school. Free coffee unlimited! Every staff member in the front is great. They have big hearts and Im very excited to be here! Walkability: Two staircases and an elevator. Walking distance about 20 yards to a corner store and McDonalds, public transit has a bus stop here, school bus comes. Also sidewalks all along the side roads. Great fitness room too

When I booked the hotel there was no mention that the efficiency had no kitchen supplies (dishes, silverware, pots, dish soap, etc..) It didn't need it fully stocked, but something would have been helpful. As I was staying for 2 weeks I was very disappointed in this. This was one of the main reasons I booked this particular hotel, and would have chosen another had I know this at the time of booking. It's not the nicest area of town, but it was convenient for my trip. Unfortunately the noise in other rooms was loud as well. At least the staff was friendly & the room appeared clean.
