Beautiful community and nice staff! I recently toured with Ollie and told him about my possible job relocation and he explained the area, the community, and told me everything I needed to know to make this transition happen. This community is at the top of my list!

Living here has some of the most disrespectful neighbours. Trash being left on the ground, garbage left for days outside of doors, dog owners letting their pets poop on sidewalks and not cleaning up, and most of all, constant noise, day and night. Rent has hiked up in two years and is no longer worth it for two people to split an apartment. Hence why families are regularly moving in. Because of this and of dangerous incidents that have happened in the area in my past two years of living here, I will not be renewing my lease. Parking is regularly an issue and back lots have major pothole problems. Despite this, the leasing office is helpful, friendly and handles maintenance promptly upon calling them or showing up to the office. Mail delivery has gotten significantly better when they introduced Amazon lockers. We used to have porch pirate issues and still be wary that people might come by and pick up something from your front door. There is supposedly security here but I work nights and come home late; I have literally never seen a roving guard once. Other than that this location is relatively good to consider if you want to move in with more than two people; its close to everything you might need - I just wish the neighbours would be a little more respectful of their surroundings.

February 2024 Update: RPM began two initiatives in 2023 which contribute to a less desirable living experience. The first is that Lowell began offering some units under Austins affordable housing program. (This part is awesome, truly.) An unintentional consequence of this change is that households moving to the Lowell became larger. Apartment homes which previously had two roommates for residents now have families with 3-5 adults. And all of these adults have cars. The second is that RPM took away 30+ spaces for Visitor parking. These spaces were previously used by the residents of the buildings off Broadmoor and Westmoor. A higher number of residents in 5+ buildings are now competing for fewer spots. If you live in buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 14, and 15, you will almost never find parking anywhere near your unit. ____________________ October 2023 Update: Note that nearly all 5-star reviews in 2023 are written by people who are employed by or affiliated with RPM. Its troubling and seems juvenile to me that our own management company would call their own residents haters. ___________________ August 2023 Update: Yesterday, management closed the pools (remember, temps have been 100+ for weeks straight) due to increased vandalism. What they didnt share is that they also stopped paying for the private security that used to prevent vandalism in the first place. More fun tidbits: 1) The office never answers the phone. 2) Several of the recent 5-star reviews have been made by people affiliated with RPM. (You can tell by checking their review history.) 3) The communal laundry rooms smell terrible, kinda like they dont get cleaned. 4) Management refers to one of the 3 pools as the green pool. *This* issue wasnt caused by vandalism, I can tell you that. Ill update more as I think of it. _______________ Original, July 2023: Its shelter. Thats the best I can say at this point. We receive monthly rent reminders. This feels unnecessary. We received SIX July 2023 unique emailed rent reminders. The pools are locked randomly with minimal notice. Management sometimes customizes emails such that they blame each leaseholder for, say, illegal dumping on the property. Nearly all of the recent reviews were made in exchange for entry into a gift card drawing. Emails below. Weve received the following 2 emails since RPM took over management of this property. ____________________ Email 1, Sent 7/7/2023: 20$ HEB GIFT CARD Hi [Name Redacted] FRIDAY 7/7/2023 We are giving away 5 20$ H-E-B Gift Cards follow the steps below: Come to the office.
