I'm just updating my review as I'm still planning on returning to Austin this Fall *2024* taking longer than I originally anticipated but with anticipation of returning to this sleepy and peaceful corner of Barton Creek. I had a great time living at this property years ago and look to return as soon as things are in better organization for Me in order to finally make my return to Austin, Texas most likely September or October. That said; I think that it's the best rental that Anyone will find with the view available and for the price nearest to the City but far enough away that with a vehicle living comfortably is far more manageable for Someone seeking in my opinion a more diverse array of City meets closeknit community of the suburbs. The Drives from Barton Creek to surrounding areas are incredibly scenic and Bee Caves offers a great World at your fingertips without having to run in to Downtown every time that You need something. That's just my personal experience. I love the City for a number of reasons and too many to list in this review but again for Me I found the quiet Nights at The Cliffs at Barton Creek my most memorable part of being totally new to Texas from the Northeast. I can't wait to return and wish You all the best in advance!

We toured several of the units at the Cliffs at Barton Creek Apartments and Riley was the leasing agent that we worked with. She was wonderful! So informative and helpful, answered every question we had.

Do not live here. Office staff if extremely unprofessional and difficult to work with. We had no AC for 27 days and they just kept telling us they were at the mercy of their vendors. We finally found out they had never asked for approval to get the work done until 3 weeks in. We were constantly ignored by the office. We had a window that leaked when it rained and they did not come out to even look at it for days, we told them (per the lease) it was causing water damage and they took 2 weeks to fix it. Our balcony door was broken when we moved in and it was never fixed, it was marked as fixed. Even from the day we moved in the apartment was FILTHY, literally food left on the kitchen counter, and they refused to do anything to clean it or take off of rent so we could get a cleaner. There are large gaps in the front door frame, no sound proofing or insulation. You can hear anyone in the halls talking and you can hear into other peoples apartments. The kitchen appliances are so old and run down, missing pieces of the microwave, the dishwasher is rusted and bent. The washer and dryer are disgusting, the dryer smells burnt even after cleanings. Also just be warned that almost every parking spot is marked compact only and due to people constantly parking over the lines it can be hard to find any parking at night. Look up the apartment company on BBB to see their F rating and negative reviews.
