Unfortunately, I had a bad experience as an applicant at this apartment complex. - Communication was not good. The staff were rude (cancelled my apt, communications were curt, seemed like they didnt care). I provided feedback via follow up survey and requested to talk to someone but never heard back. If you apply I recommend requesting the manager - she was reasonable and kind. - Proof of income is extreme. They seem to be scared after some fraud. The requirement is that you allow a 3rd party platform to access your bank account to download a current balance and transaction history. This requires you to provide your bank password and pin. I was not comfortable with that and asked to provide the same info another way but was told no. I offered tax returns, bank statements, even to pay the full lease up front. The answer was no. - No refund of application fees ($500) because I removed myself rather than them disqualifying me. I recommend you dont withdraw and wait for them to reject you so you can get a partial refund. P.S. I waited a month to submit this review hoping they would try to make it right privately. I have since moved into a neighboring complex and had a wonderful experience.

Living here has not been great so far because we have not gotten even one night of good sleep. My sleep schedule is disturbed because the construction right across from our bedroom facing Mueller blvd starts at 4 AM!!!! We decided to make a complaint to a district representative and see if we can solve the issue. Ive been experiencing anxiety and stress during the day because of the early morning noise and lack of sleep, and this issue is affecting my health. I dont know how this is allowed, but Im taking action because of my health. I hope the managers at SYNC Mueller are concerned about this noise which begins everyday between 4-5:30 and advocate their residents rights. Im writing this message at 5:50 because Ive been awak since 4 today!!!!

We rented here for a couple of months through a furnished rental service. The apartment is nice, amenities are fine (gym is small and the pool is not heated), and its a good location. My one complaint is the woman who works at the leasing office is probably the rudest person I have dealt with at an apartment building. She acts as if she cares little about helping residents and has been extremely passive aggressive on several occasions. I hardly ever complain like this about people but management should really take notice as she could use a course on hospitality 101.

I lived at SYNC at Mueller for the last year and it was a pretty great complex! Casey and Emma in the office were always super helpful and definitely went out of their way to help out however I needed. When the 'winter freeze' happened in Feb 2021, the office was *incredibly* communicative about the situation, what steps they were taking to try and remedy things, support they could offer, etc. The staff are definitely bumped it from a four star to a five star experience. The apartment itself: I never heard neighbors on either side of me or below, but could occasionally hear the unit above me. I was on the non-pool courtyard and I never really had any major problems with noise. The kitchen definitely fits the 'luxury' feel, though note that the granite countertops do not continue on into the bathrooms. The rest of the apartment felt nice enough, cozy. The maintenance staff was friendly and prompt with repairs. I never had any issues with breakins or thefts in the parking garage. I know some other people had those problems and made a pretty big fuss about it, but then the complex put up cameras in response and started getting APD to swing by every now and then, and that seemed to help. The location is obviously top notch! It was easy to hit the 3 mile walking trail by the park; Torchy's, HEB, the Irish Pub, the ice cream shop, are all within walking distances, etc. Super quick to get downtown and to get out to the airport. I originally was looking in the Domain and the Triangle area, but I couldn't be more pleased that I chose Mueller.

I lived in Sync Mueller from June 2017 - June 2021. Been meaning to drop a review for a while, but just getting to it now. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Elysian/Sync. I gave it 4 stars because of a few issues discussed below, but overall I would live there again 100% without any qualms. Positive: -Office staff and maintenence are great. Never had an issue with them at all. -Rent is expensive but its fair for what it is in Austin. -Mueller is an amazing area to live in. Its grown so much in the last few years and gives a great feel of a suburban area close to a downtown. -The gym is literally the best apartment gym I have ever been to in my life. For real, go and take a tour and check out the gym. It was awesome. -Rooms are solid. Didnt feel outdated to me. -Pool and common area are awesome as well. -Good community and everyone was generally pretty friendly. -I have to list this twice because of how true it is, but mueller in general is awesome. HEB, torchys, MOD, and many other bars/restaurants within walking distance. Also a big farmers market on Sundays and food trucks daily in the park in Mueller. Negatives: -Take this with a grain of salt as its been 6 months since I lived there and the problem may have been fixed, but they had a lot of issues with their garage in the past and we would get emails pretty routinely during my last year about how the gate was broken and it was going to be left open until it could be repaired. My wifes car got broken into during one of those times along with some others (Although that was partially her fault to be fair). Hopefully theyve fixed the problem by now, but the gate screwing up was probably the biggest issue with sync during my 4 years there. The building as a whole is otherwise pretty secure as you need a key fob to get in from the garage into the hallways leading to the apartments, but the gate was a problem. -The walls are a bit thin. Had a few issues with noise during my first year but talked to my neighbor and it was resolved pretty quickly and wasnt an issue the rest of my time there. Otherwise, can hear people walking above you but wasnt really bothersome In short, I would live there again 100%. Great experience, location, staff, apartment, etc.
