Overall negative experience. Paid rent late one time and was charged 270$ with no exceptions. (That's ~20% of my rent). Otherwise, found homeless people sleeping in the parking garage in a visitor parking spot, parking garage door hasn't worked properly for more than 2 continuous weeks since move in. Gym has been on and off closed for the entirety of my stay. Would not live here again.

Location is good, apartment was priced reasonably for the size when I moved in, not too many issues. However, they use Fetch packaging, which often takes an extra day to get packages delivered to your door. The fire alarms are very sensitive as well and go off frequently. They are LOUD. After my last edit, Ive seen improvements again so they do seem to take feedback well (thank you). Im hesitant to add another star until Ive seen sustained improvement but will revisit and update soon hopefully!

I lived at this complex for 2 years and there are pros and cons like any place you would rent. Ill start with the inconveniences (not bc it was horrid, but things i wish I wouldve known): This building is right next to a train track and during the day there are only small quiet metro trains but throughout the night there are long freight trains that are loud and shakes the building and can wake you up that lasts from 3-5 mins depending on how long the train is (my unit didnt face the track, i faced north so i can only imagine being along the track) . The fire alarm goes off randomly pretty often compared to any other complex Ive ever lived in causing you to have to stop what youre doing whether working or sleeping and evacuating. They have multiple annual inspections throughout the year, which theres nothing wrong with but is more frequent than Ive ever experienced, that require them to enter your complex, move your vehicle, set off the fire alarm throughout the day, etc. so if you work from home, youll need to make arrangements to work elsewhere o to accommodate them. There were times my key fobs would stop working to enter certain doors and having to figure out another way in, then get it reconfigured at the office. The entry doors, gym, parking garage and elevators would randomly go down as well.. the complex was pretty good about getting the issues resolved but they were so frequent experiences to where I wouldnt be surprised anymore. I once took a guest to the pool and it was extremely filthy with hair, bugs and debris floating around so I never went back. My water heater must've been small as the hot water would run out within 10 mins. I had my doormat and a few packages disappear (which Ive never experienced before living anywhere else) but I guess thats not the apartments fault. While those are things I wish I was aware of prior to moving there, I had a good overall experience living at e6. Once they changed their office staff, everyone was kind, professional and willing to help. I NEVER had any issues with pests in my unit which is sooo important. My neighbors were quiet and nice. The location is very convenient. Maintenance resolved issues promptly. Appliances/plumbing worked well. I overall had a pleasant stay and would recommend living here short term, but I was also ready to move to somewhere where I could feel more calm and settled without having to function around loud trains at night, fire alarms randomly going off, and other periodic apartment issues stated above. But if you can work around that, there are definitely worse places Ive stayed in terms of neighbors or pests. Everyone has pros/cons theyd prefer to live with

We have lived here for almost 2.5 years now. Initially, our experience was great - however, this apartment complex has worsened over the last 1-1.5 years despite an almost $800 increase in monthly rent. The garage door is frequently left open or broken which is more concerning now that the bottom 2 floors are public. I have seen multiple cars with windows broken into. The door to the 5th floor has been broken for over a year which adds another layer of security issues. The gym is continuously closed and for a luxury building, it is quite lacking. The hallways are dirty. It is unfortunate because the location is great and we honestly never had any issues with the train noise. The people from management I interact with have always been nice and cordial (the maintenance staff is great) but for some reason, things do not get done. Lastly, and this is personal preference, but having to use "fetch" and not having our own mail room has been a bigger nuisance than I could've imagined. Update: I have had my second instance of seeing a homeless person in the stairwell while leaving for work. I would not advise living here if you value security.
