        We had the worst experience with Cathy Armstrong. She represented us as a seller's agent. She made an already sad and stressful situation completely miserable. She was notified, up front, that I had to live in the residence for the first week it was on the market. When I couldn't accept every showing request, she yelled at me over the phone asking what my problem was. I tried to explain to her that I had 3 dogs, no place to go and it was winter. I couldn't be kicked out of the house all day. She got angry, said whatever and hung up on me. When we didn't immediately do what she wanted us to do, she would become abrasive and her tone scolding. She even asked to speak with my husband when I disagreed with the listing price. When we gave her any kind of push back, she would resort to name calling and snarky comments. During one conversation, I had to ask her to stop texting hateful messages so my husband and I could discuss a request from the buyer. Cathy was pushy and unpleasant. We never felt like she was working for us. I would not recommend her as an agent. She is a bully and not completely truthful.

        When we first talked with Cathy and put our home on the market, we thought that we made a great choice for a selling agent. I was working out of state at the time so my wife was left to work with Cathy on the sell of our home. My wife was not treated with the respect that she deserved by Cathy. I am still disgusted by the way my wife was talked too by this so called professional agent! Cathy did little to no work on our behalf and walked away with almost $12,000. If you are looking for a realtor that will not be transparent and explain things to you, then she is the agent for you. If this is not what you are looking for, then find an agent that will have your best interest in mind!

      I don't know why you continue to post bad reviews about me. I bent over backward to assist you with the sale of your home. I attempted to explain to you and your husband that your property would be highly sought after and would have multiple showings. At the time we signed listing paperwork you agreed to vacate the property when showings were requested. You then changed your mind as we began to accept showings. You limited the number and time frame for all showings. You then posted on your last review (over a year ago) that I made $12,000 commission on the sale of your home. First of all, I don't work for free, I went above and beyond my fiduciary responsibilities and we closed your house at $31,000 over your asking price. We were also under contract within 7 days of listing and closed out 44 days after listing...no thanks to you. I paid a 25% referral fee to a company you chose to go through to find a realtor because you couldn't get along with the agent who sold you the house to begin with. It seems like the common denominator is you. I certainly hope that anyone who may see this review takes this factual information under consideration. Anyone who wishes to see truthful reviews about me regarding real estate should check out the 57 reviews on Zillow from actual clients.
