Update: Today I signed for a new unit, as Im ready to downsize and reduce expenses. Safeguard has twice raised rates substantially within the year and a half Ive rented. That said, Shaneens management and oversight is superb and consistent, and I continue to feel confident in my decision to store here. Her warmth and competence bring me - and surely many - real relief! Yesterday I signed my contract after a very warm welcome. The uplifting yellow at its entrance and its wide windows matched the overall feel! Having managed this Safeguard location in Germantown for 12 of its 15 years, Shaneen is incredibly knowledgeable about it and efficient in guiding new customers through the process of setup. Her steadfast employment, suggestive of the companys stable employee retention, was certainly a selling point unto itself. I appreciated the flexibility of options offered and her fluency in them. Though I have yet to use my new space, she gave me every reason to trust her reliability as well as the cleanliness and security of the facility itself. I expect it will bring ease amidst the uncertainty always involved in transitions.
