I have a family member in this place they won't give me information she signed release of information for me I have called 6 times today I have gotten hung up on every time nice to know I can't find out about my family. If anything changes I'll update

Most reviews usually deal with a recent specific experience and are time sensitive. A few strive to communicate a deeper message about the overall nature of a company/organization and are less time dependent. This is mine. All reviews aim (OR SHOULD) to inform a reader accurately and maturely. I am absolutely transparent in this effort. YES it this is traumatic and continues to affect me and YES it reveals what this organization is REALLY LIKE and YES I identify who I dealt with. And YES I DON T THINK A STAR RATING IS RELEVANT at all but am forced to use it for this review to be accepted. IN TRUTH NOT EVEN A NO STAR IS ADEQUATE TO CONVEY THE SERIOUSNESS OF WHAT I FACED. This is NOT about a restaurant or a faulty product. ITS ABOUT ME! This experience occurred in 2018. I was in the worst DEAD END personal situation possible, a senior with NOTHING AND NO ONE when a Dr Julia Monico called me. I must have submitted a resume to GAUDENZIA but had never heard back. She invited me to see her which I did IMMEDIATELY. She heard my story and seemed truly caring. I was convinced then and there GAUDENZIA did reach out to those with no other chance to improve their life situation. THAT SOMEONE WAS ME. I was hired and during my first week an ADMINISTRATIVE PROBLEM involving a Federal agency occurred. I had to be terminated as result. I was REASSURED by Dr Monaco I would be welcomed back if the problem was resolved. DESPITE THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN IN JAN 2019, I was fortunate and blessed to find a caring government supervisor who fast tracked resolution of the problem with my input. I received NO HELP from Gaudenzia. I informed Dr Monaco of my success but NEVER HEARD BACK! I sent many emails without the courtesy of a reply OR REHIRE PLAN AS I WAS REASSURED. Dr Monaco knew ALL the my current tragic circumstances AND MY PRIOR PROFESSIONAL CAREER. My whole life A to Z. I had given up hope on that cliche term: REDEMPTION and was convinced Gaudenzia provided the REAL THING! WRONG!!! I sent Dr Monaco so many emails I lost count. Some with truly desperate content begging to be accepted and to be of service. NONE was answered even superficially. I was now a NON ENTITY. This is beyond cruel for someone as me who has never recovered from this experience. IT WAS SADISTIC. This organization promotes a SELF SERVING PUBLIC image of local GOOD SAMARITAN but its true nature is revealed in MY experience: I am a REAL PERSON IN MAJOR NEED as I was and remain. THIS IS THE TRUE GAUDENZIA that awaits one who enters its world.

I myself had an amazing experience at Gaudenzia from the moment I walked in the door everyone was very welcoming and extremely concerned for my overall well being not just my detox but also my mental state seeing that detoxing from Fentanyl and opiates takes a definite toll on my mental health as well. I found ALL the nurses to be extremely efficient and very well trained and the nurses at Gaudenzia actually really cared about how I was feeling mentally, emotionally and physically and took the time to talk to me about how I was feeling and if I was feeling safe and cared for in their family setting. My Social worker was Ms. Carnita Washington and when I was asked NOT TOLD to go and speak with her I was still experiencing withdrawal seeing it was only my second day and after sitting and talking with her I felt emotionally and physically SO much better! I've sat with many Social workers and have never felt that even one cared at all about what I was going through until a few seconds into speaking with Ms. Washington, she really cared and was very encouraging about my detox and my recovery.. The house managers were amazing as well! Each one took the time to make sure I was eating and getting on well and when I wasn't feeling confident about myself and my recovery they could just tell and took their time to talk with me and to remind me that I do have the strength to continue with what I started. I felt not only cared for but actually loved, yes I said loved! When no other facility would take me they did and all I had to do was ring the bell at the front door, oh and it was 3 am when they welcomed me in and fed me and made sure I had everything that I needed made me very well aware of my rights as a client (which had never happened before) and after my completion staff personally walked me out, hugged me and told me that they're there if I needed them again and again Between their professionalism and real concern and care I give Gaudenzia a five star review! I've had a rough go through addiction and have been to many detox facilities throughout the last 20 plus years and can honestly say that I found Gaudenzia to be the absolute best! If it's either you or a loved one who wants to detox and get their life back this is the place to find firm grounding into recovery! YOU can do it, you'd be very surprised to find out just how strong you really are when you have amazing people in your life. All you need to do is dig deep and find yourself again, you're still in there, I promise you Gaudenzia will personally help you in every way, just go and do it! I cannot thank them all enough for helping me reclaim my life
