Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation – Riverfront

Went for initial assessment and wasn't told there was a wait to actually start therapy until after the assessment was done! They failed to tell me this when I made the appointment weeks ago and went through the trouble of getting a preauthorization from my insurance company for this provider. They could not tell me when I could start therapy (a few weeks, a few months???), anyone's guess!!! I called them to let them know that I would be going to another provider and the person I spoke with put me in speaker while her coworkers proceeded to laugh at me because I was so upset that I had to wait an unknown amount of time to start therapy. I asked her to please take me off of speaker and she did. A few minutes later I get a call from a supervisor telling me she also didn't know when I could start therapy and denied that I was put on speaker earlier, when in fact the person admitted to having me on speaker phone. Now I have to start the process all over again by having Magee contact my insurance to cancel the pre-authorization and get a new one with a different provider. The therapist that did my eval was very good but I felt rushed during my appointment (my appt was 10am and they took me back to the gym at 10:10am). The facility could have been cleaner and there aren't enough bathrooms for the patients.

I went for a wheelchair evaluation and liked my therapist.
