    Do not sign a lease with this property management company. They are negligent and it's a wonder how they're still operating. Things I've experienced living in a Brick Management property: -cockroach and mice all over the outside and inside of the building -building fire alarm going off on a random day in the middle of the night for the past month (no fire/smoke/heat - the alarm just goes off) -4 tenants vacating/not resigning (only 8 units in the building) -building has been broken into multiple times (one of the times whoever broke in showed themselves into the basement and pooped down there) -packages and property stolen from the break-ins -when they tried to fix the door after a break in they completely removed the doorknob and left it removed overnight before coming back to fix it the next day (the fix didn't work - someone just broke into the building again) -multiple units with continual water leaks from either: old radiators, bathrooms above their units, or just the roof leaking when it rains Worst of all, these issues persist and children reside in the building. My opinion is that the person running this company is greedy and severely lacks empathy.

    management is a disaster. i moved here 2 months ago and there are building wide issues daily. just in the last 3 days the fire alarm has gone off for the whole building and now the elevator is down and not expected to be fixed for a week. within 10 days of me moving in, there was a leak in my bathroom ceiling which spread into my closet and all over my clothes. it took 9 days for maintenance to fix the problem (water actively leaking out of the ceiling into my unit this whole time). now there are multiple gaping holes in my ceiling for nearly 2 months with no updates as to when they will be fixed. management is impossible to get a hold of and when you do they are either rude or unaware. i have maintenance requests that were opened when i first moved in that still haven't been addressed.

    I know you guys already have 1.5 stars in ratings and I doubt my review will make it any better, but the amount of ignorance and incompetence from the front desk receptionist is astronomical! Please, PLEASE hire someone who knows basic knowledge of credit scores. I feel like you guys train people an unrealistic script and never real life circumstances. Maybe youre not used to challenging questions but its really not hard to get: hOw Do YoU kNoW tHaT tHe CrEdIt ScOrE iS aCcUrAtE? wHaT aRe YoU cOmPaRiNg ThIs DaTa To?? If your front desk receptionist cant answer basic questions learned in elementary mathematics, then I would reconsider your hired employees. Also, lets not forget I was told I was going to be transferred to the manager but really was just left on hold for 10+ minutes. I hope my friend finds a better place that will accept her score (which is good on Credit Karma, but not Appfolio) and my score (that was off by ONE point). Hopefully they dont offer incompetence and what sounds like a huge mice and roach infestation.

    It was a disaster trying to get approved for one of their new buildings as someone who is self employed, but by the looks of these reviews it seems like I dodged a bullet. My partner and I were told by a leasing agent to send in our 1040 tax documents to prove our combined gross income. This leasing agent clearly didnt know how to read the tax document and told us he couldnt use capital gains as income. Which is fine because we did not have any capital gains in the first place. So after highlighting our more than sufficient combined gross income, the property manger, Tionna, gives us a call and tells us she cant use our tax documents at all to prove income and that they wont go through our bank statements from the past few months either. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between the property manager and her leasing agents and she was very blunt and unapologetic on the phone when trying to help us lease one of her apartments. We were willing to get a guarantor to sign with us, but at the end they said there was too much back and forth. Very unprofessional employees and not worth anyones time.
