Somerset was such a great place to visit. The students are so thoughtful and curious and the educators seemed to really care for the children. There are also many resources available for students to learn from.

This place, the staff, and the owner here are disgusting. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. If your children are in any program here TAKE THEM OUT IMMEDIATELY.

Somerset is an excellent and amazing place to sent your child. My child has been there since she was 2 in a half and she is now 5 years old and the process that was made since she has started there was so rewarding and remarkable. My child is now graduating this year and has been accepted in the school of her choice knowing how to write her first and last name, all uppercase and lowercase letters, all numbers and how to count. It came so serious to the point where the school that she was accepted to they said she really did an amazing job and she knows her stuff. I say that was Somerset Academy. It was so a great thing to let other people see the process of you child when it comes to school and etc. One thing that I say it wasnt just the daycare that did it was me as a parent that helped the process and my child has an IEP. The remarkable results was so amazing and awesome. Thank you to Somerset for having my support and my children support and I can wait to see what God has in store for Somerset next year. Thank you so much . please if you are looking for a daycare that has not just the support and love and learning of your child(ren) but the love and support for us as parents come and have a visit today. No matter of your child has a IEP they with help you and your family navigate through it all. Thank you so much and I love Somerset Academy.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. My pre-k daughter brought up that an adult male what my daughter described as "man teacher" at Somerset had pinched her. She had scabs. Assuming it happened the previous week since it was brought to my attention Monday. I immediately brought it up to Zach, Tiffany and another staff. They said they would ask around and see if anyone saw anything.....the following morning I sent out a lengthy email. Wanting to know exactly how they would handle the situation in a more professional and formal way. I wanted a written response. That afternoon Ms. Tiffany came to talk to me outside she basically swept everything under the rug and said that she didn't think any of the staff at Somerset would do that and said how they have some of the best teachers and how preschoolers reality is different than adults. I was not at all reassured. Instead I got an adult who tried defending the schools reputation. I didn't appreciate her constantly touching my arms to demonstrate towards me how the teachers grab the students or lightly touch them on the arm. It was very uncomfortable and triggering. She said that they couldn't respond to the email I sent nor could they conduct an incident report because it's acknowledging that something happened at their school when they don't know if it occurred there. My thing was that I wanted something in writing about the alleged abuse and that they were going to investigate further etc. Also something stating my daughter and I brought up the issue to begin with. My daughters story was consistent until the day that I sent out the email. After school....I asked the exact questions and she tried hiding her hand from me. She said she fell....She seemed ashamed. When I tried touching her hand she immediately yelled out that I was hurting her and I barely touched it. I knew something was so off. I asked if Ms Tiffany talked to her she told me miss Tiffany gave her a hug and said sorry for "said" staff. I asked her was "said" staff the one who pinched you. And she said yes. I asked her what did he say and she said he said sorry. I know my daughter and she isn't one to make stuff up. Her story was consistent until apparently Ms. Tiffany talked with her. The next day being the third day after accusations Zach finally responded to the email. I did not feel comfortable sending my daughter to this facility whatsoever after this incident. My four year old has asked for a new school. She would cry every morning because she didn't want to go. And she does not like going near Ms. Luz shorter woman at the front at the entrance. Not only that. There are people who sometimes physically abuse and yell at their children at the entrance and they don't say anything in regards to it. One grand mother who looked strung out pulled her 4 year old grandson by the hair as he is screaming she takes off her shoe and hits his feet and legs in front of everyone. Including Ms. Tiffany. The fact that people are okay with abuse happening is beyond sickening. I tried having my daughter go back for the week and she was obviously traumatized from the pinching incident because she started having accidents. My daughter has since been removed from this facility and she is no longer having accidents. No more crying and is a lot better. I'd pay more to have a safer environment for my children than to send them here for low cost to nothing. Horrible experience.
