Dr. Chairman allows the students to perform the surgeries. Had I known that, I would have went elsewhere. I am very disappointed.

This doctor performed my bunion surgery about 3 years ago. My foot is still in bad shape and it hurts . I finally when and got a second opinion and I need to have it done overall.

I've had two major foot surgeries with Dr. Chairman including a bunionectomy and hammer toe correction on both my left and right foot. These surgeries were by no means small and resulted in a partial leg cast for about 3 months (from what I recall) on both legs. Post-op I did all the follow up visits and after everything was healed and cast removed, I remember looking down at my feet and surprised they were my own. The confidence that it gave me was immeasurable. It's funny how something so small as one's feel can matter so much. In the end, Dr. Chairman has been in practice for over 40 years. He is literally one of the most personable doctors I have ever encountered to the extent that I even looked forward to talking every time I visited the office for my post-op appointments. His office staff are amazingly friendly. Overall, this is probably one of the most positive experiences I've ever had with a doctor. -- PS: I usually never write reviews but after just returning from his office yesterday for a hammertoe correction I just had done, I can see that he is one of a kind. If you are curious about how my feet looked prior and post surgery, send me a message and I show some pics (since I cant post them here).

Really, these ladies run the office very efficiently and have been with Dr. Chairman for years! That is the one thing I hate about the Internet! People can hide behind anonimity and throw whatever stones they want. Dr. Chairman is skilled, honest, has a great bedside manner and has trained numerous young podiatrists in this city! He has been in practice for DECADES and still sees patients because he loves what he does!

I'm confused by the other review. Yes, all of the staff I encountered in his office are black. I only note that because it was apparently a problem for the previous reviewer somehow. They couldn't have been nicer or more attentive to my needs. The facility is clean, modern, and not deficient in any way. There was some confusion here and there, but I was having a procedure that only Dr. Chairman does, and traveled from Indiana to have it done. That alone can cause issues with insurance. They were helpful with scheduling, followup, and insurance billing. The operating room experience was great also, with highly professional staff. Dr. Chairman's procedure allowed me to resume mountain climbing and skiing, and has resulted in improved comfort when walking and standing. I highly recommend him.
