Our 20 year old son endured spinal injury as a result of collegiate athletics, and competitive snowboarding. We saw MANY very highly regarded doctors (US ski team doc, a D.C. Head of Emergency Sports Medicine doc, etc) before being referred to Dr. Arlet. It was Dr. Arlet who found the herniated disks and bone fragment sitting next to the spinal cord, which could have paralyzed our son. Even though the situation required major spinal surgery and 5 painful days in Penn Hospital (plus months of rehab), we now have a son who can walk without pain. In fact, he was back to enjoying recreational snowboarding within 2 years of his surgery. We have the utmost respect for Dr. Arlet's diagnostic and surgical capability.

Do yourself a favor and find another doctor besides this man… I guess if your scoliosis isn’t completely deforming your body, there’s nothing he can do for you. Let’s just say he was the most insulting doctor I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to many, many doctors. I get orthopedics doctors are a dime a dozen but this guy is a legend in his own mind, And surely there is a more professional orthopedic surgeon out there, You’d be safe to stay clear of him! You can thank me later!!!
