        Dr. Purtill is great! I was able to get an appointment with him very quickly. We met for the first time on January 19th and the hip replacement surgery was scheduled for less than 3 weeks later on February 5th. The procedure went without a hitch. The only physical therapy he prescribes is walking for 10 minutes out of every hour I'm awake. I have to admit I was skeptical. But we had our first follow-up appointment today and my recovery is progressing nicely. Dr. Purtill was very encouraging. I've already graduated from a walker to a cane. If you need a hip replacement, I can't imagine anyone better to perform it than Dr. Purtill.
