Awesome!!!! I recently had rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder... Dr. Kuntz, Dr.Ashley, and his staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Kuntz really took his time to explain my conditions with me before surgery, as well as my treatment options (he performed the same rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder in 2017). I always have a great visit, never nervous, and his demeanor put me at ease! I appreciate all those who assisted during my visit, and procedures! Always well taken care of at Penn!!!!!!!! So I highly recommend this hospital!!! Thanks again Dr. Kuntz!!!!

My initial reaction to surgery was absolutely NO until I met with Dr. Kuntz. First off, he was very thorough in communicating my diagnosis and explaining what my surgery would entail. He is the most patient doctor Ive met and seems to encourage questions so that you are comfortable and aware of everything before, during and after surgery. The morning of my surgery. I was nothing but nerves. Once at the hospital, I was met with the friendliest, kind, waiting room staff members. This comforting experience didnt end in the waiting room. In less than 5 minutes, I was being called to begin prepping for the surgery. I was again met by what I would describe as a team of highly skilled medical professionals who seemed to love what they do. One by one they thoroughly communicated everything that was going on and would go on throughout my time there. I was completely overwhelmed by the personalized care and attention I received as they prepared me for my surgery. I especially took note that Dr. Kuntz made sure to drop in on me during prep to assure me he would take good care of me. This was the second time he had assured me he would take good care of me and needlessly to say, he kept his word. Dr Kuntz and his entire team took great care of me! In my opinion Dr Kuntz and his team deserve the highest rating there is. We are living in times where good medical care is almost non existent. I get that medical workers are overworked and now we are experiencing facilities being understaffed. I really get it and I will be the first to applaud every medical personnel for their courage, strength, and endurance during the peak of the pandemic and even now. Still I believe that patients should still be treated with dignity, equality and made to feel like they are receiving the best care possible. If this staff had been over worked or was experiencing understaffing, it in no way removed kindness or professionalism. Just saying. Everyone thoroughly performed their job and I left Penn Medicine satisfied and completely taken care of. Their system works and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
