Penn Orthopaedics Pennsylvania Hospital - Cathcart Building

My appointment was messed up and one of the staff there went beyond and above (Darlene Armstrong). She straightened out everything and even tried to get me an appointment for my procedure that same day. I wish you had more employees like her. She made a bad experience better. Since I couldn't get my procedure that day and came down there for nothing, she set up my future appointment, helped me on the phone to get my referral. She even walked me over to where I was to have my procedure! The only reason I couldn't get it was the doctor wouldn't do it.... I'm hoping when I come back she will be there to help me. Give her a raise and a promotion, because it's the staff that make messes into better experiences!

Theyve been really disrespectful with my time. Canceling appointments, then I have to take half a day off work for a follow up where I wait literally 90 minutes to be seen. Please, try anywhere else. I've never left a review for anywhere in my life but between experiencing the worst care I've ever received, being legitimately lied to by incredibly apathetic and unprofessional doctors who never listened to a thing I said, generally after waiting 3 hours to be seen, and now having them get in the way of my disability by coming up with a million fictitious discrepancies in my signatures, let's just say I'm inspired. Penn ER is a disaster, Cathcart is a disaster, as someone who's had to go everywhereanywhere else is better. Seriously, don't waste your time. I don't know a single person who's had a good experience with anything related to Penn.
