Rocco's Italian Sausage & Cheese Steaks

Was in town for wrestlemania and the typical cheese steak spots were filled with tourists and had no parking. I did a google search and found this wonderful place. And it's in a huge parking lot. Food was great too. Don't hesitate come here!

Finally decided to try it because it smells good everytime I pass by. Ordered the #1 combo with onions and mushrooms. Was expecting the hot sausage to be hotter, but the sweet onions neautralized any heat. Service was faster than expected, about 3 minute wait after ordering on a Friday at 5:00PM. Will return and try their other menu items.

Heart Attack Warming! Cook oversalted everything and killed all flavors and seasoning. We ordered one jerk cheese steak & one sausage sandwich to go. Flavors seems good -- except the cheese steak was overly loaded with salt it felt sickening to eat and practically killed all the flavors. The cook also chopped the steak too much there was to longer a steak chew, just mashed up minced meat. You just don't mince steak to the point it's no longer any steak to eat. Might as well call it a burger. For the salt alone, stay away before you get high blood pressure and a heart attack. The steak needs to stay reasonably steak and not overly chopped into minced beef. The saugsage was less salty than the steak, but still a bit salty. If they fix these issues, I would not hesitate to recommend. But as is, I won't return and cannot recomment -- it's dangerous food!

From St. Louis, MO and was looking for the best Cheesesteak in Philly. Started here with Roccos, ordered the Rocco Special with Mayo and Onions. Man, when I say this mf is the best damn sandwich Ive ever had in my life, I mean that. I used to weigh 400 lbs, believe me, Ive eaten my fair share of sandwiches. Bar none, hands down, however you wanna put it, this is THE number one spot for a Philly in Philly. Ill fight anyone and their mother if anyone disrespects this place.

Love this place. Quick, big, and delicious sausage sandwiches, and nice employees. I stop by every time Im in Philly.
