I'm a travel nurse, and I'm based in South Philly. Unless it's summer, don't bother going here if you aren't from South Philly, and don't know anyone from this bar. Tonight, the bartender was kind and professional, so 5 stars to her. During the weekdays after the kitchen closes; this place is really only for food service workers, who know each other, to vent. They are cagey and passive aggressive to anyone who isn't in their group. I'm an ER nurse; I came here fora drink on a weekday after a rough shift. It was a very disappointing and uncomfortable time. I would suggest Watkins or just going to sleep, if you're looking for something open after 12AM in the area.
