honestly it's overpriced and I really only come here cause I can get cash back. the cashier was so rude I asked for change back and instead of handing it to me in my hand he kind of threw it in my direction. it's really just the man who wears his hat to the side and is in constant need of chapstick. everyone else is really great.

Such a lovely organic grocery store. I usually find what I need and love that its close to home. I feel like the security guard follows me around every time I go there though. I dont know if its because im black or what? I pay attention to my surroundings pretty closely and really try to avoid pulling the black card but its a weird situation. Im usually minding my business and reading labels and he walks by multiple times in attempts to establish his presence?? Idk?? Its making me uncomfortable and not want to shop there. I hope he stops because its becoming annoying. The last time I was there he practically follow me to the door. Idk if the homeless black folk that yall let hang outside of the store gave the wrong impression, but I have money for my groceries. Tf.

I live two blocks from here and it almost never occurs to me to shop here anymore. I have lost count of the times that I have gone there looking for something really simple, only to find that it's out of stock. I once went there for eggs and bread flour and they were out of both... Sprinkle in some 20 minute checkout lines and some occasional verbal abuse from the cashiers and you have a truly lovely trip to the grocery store! I have come to believe that this business is a negative contribution to my community and I truly hope that it goes out of business so that it can make way for another coop to take over (fingers crossed that Weaver's Way will move in!). I say this as an Organic farmer that has been part of founding and supplying local food coops.
