Sending my kids here was definitely a terrible experience. I didn’t find out about a half day until I dropped my kids off in the morning, and the half day was not shown on the school calendar either and this was very inconvenient for me because I work full time. When I told the assistant director this, all she said was “oh I’m sorry about that”.

I just adore my child’s teacher. She’s patient, strategic and you can tell she enjoys teaching children. I love her passion and nurturing attitude. My son has flourished under her teachings. Thank you Ms Brown.

My children were going to Brightside in south philly on 25th street which I absolutely loved the staff and the center. I figured this location would be about the same. But a lot of the staff have attitudes, the children aren't monitored well, and theres not a lot to do to keep the kids occupied. During drop off in the morning all the staff are in one room gossiping in one corner while the children are at a table waiting for their teachers. So any incidents that occur staff won't have the whole story. The bus service for school age children are iffy as in the morning they may or may not have a bus to take the kids to school, and I either had to call out or leave work early on a few occasions because they didn't have a bus to pick the kids up from school. They never reported to ccis that my child was in the pre k program and not daycare, to collect the full time amount for daycare. Prior to enrolling my children at this center the woman that did the walk through assured me that they could handle my son and his behaviors who is diagnosed with aspergers, adjustment disorder, and sensory disorder which cause a lot of behaviors. Only to find that the teachers aren't qualified to even watch a regular child. My oldest daughter who is in 4th grade never gets homework done at the center since none of the teachers can provide help for 4th grade work. I would not recommend this center to anyone. There's 20 in that area that are better suited for children.
