The staff and teachers at Alphabet Treehouse have been a much needed support and consistent source of dependable care for our 4.5 year old and 2 year old daughters throughout our time in Philadelphia. We have been a part of this center for the past > 4 years. There is a great group of supportive parents and my family has made very meaningful relationships throughout our time at the center. Sadly we are relocating to Michigan and only hope to find care that matches the excellence that we have received at Alphabet. Even during the uncertain times throughout the pandemic, Alphabet teachers joined zoom meet ups and posted some worksheets/ craft ideas. We will miss our community in Philadelphia and especially our friends and teachers at Alphabet. Best, The McCarthy Family

We have been with Alphabet for 3 years and HIGHLY recommend! The Alphabet family has been so wonderful to our son. If you are looking for a nurturing, loving, consistent environment, you have found it.They have given him such a firm foundation. His vocabulary and his social skills are thriving due to the structure and LOVE that they show each child. The health battle that we have been tackling with our son has been eased by Alphabet's support and again, clear love and care. They really impressed me with the way that they handled this insanely unprecedented year of covid with love and care. They were flexible and accommodating in a time that was very complicated. The consistency of teacher faculty and the consistency of each day were a firm foundation that we rely on and thank everyone at Alphabet for working so hard to maintain!

Our daughter was in the Alphabet treehouse infant room from the time she was 12 weeks old. I cant say enough good things about the teachers and staff here. Our daughter was so well cared for, she loved going to daycare each day and we felt like she was in great hands. We moved out of state when our daughter was 6 months old and leaving this daycare was the hardest part - we wish we could take it with us! Communication between the staff and parents was excellent and one of my favorite parts about working with them. There is an app they use to post updates throughout the day, including when the baby ate/napped/diapers, photos (our fave!), and updates about upcoming holidays or birthday celebrations. We also were very impressed by how theyve been handling COVID-19. Students are kept within their small class to minimize exposure between different pods of kids and staff, which minimizes the effect of closures on families since only that classroom has to quarantine after a positive case. For the few positive cases that theyve had in staff or students, the center has followed CDC guidelines to a T. We loved it there, we felt safe leaving our baby with them, and I would recommend them to any local family!

I sent both of my kids to Alphabet Academy from 2016 to 2019 and the only reason we stopped going was because we moved out of the city. Why I chose Alphabet Academy: In 2016 I started my oldest son at 2 years old after having a friend watch him in her home since he was 3 months old and I worked full time outside the home. It was a big change going from a dear-friend who was providing a private nanny-care to a daycare setting. At the time, I wanted him to socialize with other kids and my friend had some personal things in her life that were changing her availability in watching my son 5 days a week. So I needed a convenient, safe, dependable, loving, affordable, and fun place to send my kid. I lived in Passyunk Square and took the subway up to Center City every day after drop-off. When I had my 2nd kiddo in 2017, I went back to work when he was 3 months old. He was in the infant room at Alphabet Station and my big one was down at Alphabet Aquarium by then. The little one was in the toddler room at Alphabet Station when we left.  Things to highlight:-I always felt my kids were in a safe place as they have someone at the front desk during all business hours and the door is locked.   -All the staff always communicated to me about my kids. Good/bad, up/down. -I felt that every one of their teachers cared about them individually and respected me as their parent. I always felt I could ask their teachers how his day was and I would get a solid answer. -One teacher even helped me kick the binkie habit! And another helped me with potty training! No matter where I put my kids in daycare/preschool, I'm going to have opinions about it. So my negatives are few but in full honesty and transparency, I wish the Station would have an outdoor space or even outside time in some capacity. It broke my heart that on beautiful days everyone was stuck inside. As for the Aquarium, I wished the kids had more outside time too. The roof-deck is such a cool feature but they didn't use it all the time. I asked my big one if they went outside everyday whether hot or cold and he would say "No" too often. I know the tv time is an issue with a lot of parents, but it wasn't a sticking point for me. It actually made my kid look forward to school because we don't do a lot of screen time in our house and part of his daily report is what they watched and who picked it and what it was about. I know that's not what some parents are looking for, but for us it worked. I really liked and would recommend Alphabet Academy for your kiddos. I think Ro Gallo, Debbie, Amanda and Jamie are 100% professionals who took care of me as a customer and a worried/working mom. Their staff loved my babies in a safe, dependable, loving, and fun environment while I went to work.
