Wanamaker Building OptumRx

OptumRx has denied care to a patient that physicians who are far more experienced than any empty suit they employ to say "no" have, in concert stated is "more than reasonable." They requested the *the standard* treatment and multiple docs have confirmed I'm a pretty cut and dry textbook case. I hope I can bring a lawsuit because this company 100% deserves it and they know it. My body doesn't really respond much to antibiotics and so a SUPPLEMENTARY medication isn't going to do anything, Zinblava DOES NOT treat infections, only toxins produced by the infection and will NOT help me recover as more than one doctor has pointed out. Whatever group of people run OptumRx are some of the most disgusting, reprehensible humans you could ever have the misfortune of interacting in any way with. They'd deny you chemo to save a buck.

Zero is a number and a thing. It all makes sense now this building is located downtown, so you literally just went outside casted a net and thats who answers your phones. You do realize that as an employee I have no choice as to what company the employer utilizes, you do realize thats beyond my control. Apparently not because not only are representatives here rude and know nothing of what they represent but I will get my money back since my 100 attempts in communicating with you is not doing the job Im just gonna have to file a formally. See you then.

I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to share my extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with OptumRx. After calling almost every day for the past month to follow up with OptumRX about difficulty they had processing information from our doctor and coordinate care with secondary insurance (all of which took hours of time), I was told yesterday that they do not have the medication we need because it is "long term out of stock" and they don't know when it will be back in stock. This is information that they had when I started this process and, if they had told me this up front, I could have saved hours of time. I am sharing this experience to advise anyone working with OptumRX to ask if the medication you need is in stock before you waste your precious time working with this company.
