This building was great but has gone downhill. There's been no price appreciate for many, many years. Amenities have been cut, and the management is often rude (Michelle). I cannot recommend.

I never lived there. It's a beautiful place. The guy at the desk was nice. But they need to please take the netting down over the over hanging signs! I'm sure they did it so sparrows couldn't build nests. But they are getting in there and trapped! Pecking franrically at the net to get out! It's cruel! There were about four trapped in there. Nobody could help me. Until the front desk said he's let management know. There were dead fluffy babies in the netting. And a dead featherless one on the steps. Somebody said they saw them trying to free them before. But it needs to come down! Nests would be more attractive! Same problem at Cottman Ave mall . A dead black bird from heat and exhaustion. Sad! Other sparrows trapped. Happy site. Not!

The condos and location in this area are great. Unfortunately if you have to have any dealings with the management, namely John Kroll or Michelle Nielsen, it's a nightmare. A leak of human feces took place in a unit. No information was passed along to the owner or lessee. The management were rude, sarcastic, and uncooperative in trying to move things along to clean and repair all the damaged areas. What could have been a smooth easy process was marred by these two people. Better management would improve the experience greatly.

There are some serious downsides to living at this place. Pros: convenient location, all units include laundry, a lot of space and high ceilings, the rooftop terrace, and the staff are generally nice Cons: old building with old building problems--they constantly have hot water issues and can never seem to fix them. And you do not get a warning so you're treated to a cold shower surprise. The laundry machines cannot vent to the outside, in fact, nothing vents to the outside and you're going to want to open a window, except the window might not work because it's an old building. The high ceiling are nice except in winter when the heating units can't get the unit warm enough because they're measly little heat pumps. And then if you want to have a nice view it's going to either face the parkway or love park, either of which is noisy enough to disrupt your sleep, especially in the summer when there are even more bikers than usual, as well as the people who LOVE to share their car stereos with the world. The view from the "quieter" side has no light because it's of the alley in the back.
