For the love of your belongings and money please do not move to this sad excuse for inhabitable space. My father has been a small town contractor for decades and audibly laughed at the disaster waiting to happen in this building. They tried to make us move out early, wouldnt give us our security deposit back. You will have all of your mail stolen, there is no one to call when theres an emergency. Your apartment will not be clean and will be missing basic necessities when you move in. Pick a new construction complex to waste your money on instead.

STAY AWAY. G8 is an absolutely awful slumlord-style management company. The building was recently sold to out of town developers who have never set foot in Fishtown. They are currently beginning a two-year construction project (a 9-story building in what used to be our parking lot), that will adversely affect all tenants and they have refused to work with any existing tenants whatsoever. We found out about this project from a local Instagram post. G8 denied it for months. No rent adjustments, no lease adjustments, no humanity, nothing. They do not care about you. This building is going to be demolished when the new building is finished. DO NOT RENT HERE. Avoid at all costs. Absolute trash people.

The apartment themselves are amazing but the property management company is one of the worse. Forget about maintenance requests, they never get responded to. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. By the way, the other reviewer is right, the 5 star review is from the lady that runs the office.

Dont live here. Building security and maintenance is a joke. If you enjoy having all of your mail stolen and a building manager who rarely responds this is definitely the place for you. Ps The five star review is from the property manager not a tenant
