University City Apartments at UPENN / DREXEL / PENN Medicine

This has been a great experience. Great access to public transit. Also a very clean neighborhood.

It is a secure apartment complex. The entry from the street is only by using a key fob and there are motion detecting cctv cameras in the lobby and hallway. The location is minutes walk from trolley station and subway station. Very accessible location with lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance.

I lived here for a year and had a fantastic experience. The Redblock team was super easy to work with, the apartment was exactly as-advertised and looked great (obviously recently renovated with attention to detail), and the location and the building's security features made me feel very safe. Highly recommend.

I'm an international PhD student at Penn. I've been a tenant at 437 N 40th for more than a year. My experience so far has been very good after living here for more than a year. Living here puts my mind at ease and allows me to focus on my study and research. The property managers are very responsive and attentive. I once requested for a maintenance and the repairing person came in the same day I requested. The place is very clean, and I've never seen any roach or rodents in the building since I moved here. I'm very impressed with the management. Other things I like about this place include the huge study room, which also has a separated meeting room when you need to discuss with a few more people, in-building trash drop-off, and an Amazon locker in the lobby. Not to mention that the neighborhood is very safe (within Penn police patrol zone) and quiet, and located near Septa 40th St station and ACME. Overall, I recommend this place to any graduate/professional students living in University City.

I have been living in the 40th spring apt since August 2022. It has been an absolute pleasure living in a 2 bed 2 bath here. The apartments are spacious and anytime I needed manitence it was taken care of promptly. The security is great and I have always felt safe in the building. I am a Drexel student and it takes me about a 10 minutes to get to my building. I also love how close it is to all Philly public transit as well. 100% recommend renting here!
