2130 Arch Street

I have had a great experience living at 2130 Arch! The apartments are modern and spacious, and priced very well for Center City. It is walkable everywhere including Trader Joe's, the Comcast Center and Schyulkill Trails. This is a hidden gem!

This building is a disaster. While the apartments on the higher floors are recently remodeled and spacious, the property management is comically poor. >1 year of construction where residents living in the building have been treated as an after thought, almost daily fire alarms that nobody seems to know how to turn off and countless communication issues make living at PMC's 2130 Arch Street a daily challenge. It's a shame because the actual apartments are nice, but I would avoid living here.

I haven't even moved into the property but already had a terrible experience. The showing agent, Jessica, lied straight up in front of my face when I asked about the noise complaints I've read from other reviewers - or you might say she purposefully hid information about the noise and vibration from the fourth floor (it's an AT&T commercial space) that kept previous tenants up at night; half of the third floor moved out because of that. She not only didn't bring up those things but assured me I wouldn't have noise issues. Thank god I asked about the construction part in the contract before signing and Sara and Joelle from the property management were transparent and helpful and disclosed this information. On top of the AT&T straight above all third floor, there is a commercial building next door that's going through constructions and NO ETA is known. In the specific unit 308 I applied, they still need to install a window hopper that will likely require me to stay out of my apartment during the day for two days - and again they don't know when that will happen. I was so excited to move later this month but JUST found out all this information this week - now need to scramble to figure out a temporary place to stay while looking for a new place, wasting lots of time and money.
