Dayspring Christian Academy

Dayspring has done a great job of meeting the special education needs of both of my daughters, tailoring teaching to their level, but also continuing to challenge them to improve their skills. My daughters have also made true friends with their peers at this school, which is so valuable. Lastly, the teachers and administrators have done a great job of caring about the success of my daughters and giving them hope for their future.

Dayspring is one of the few schools that still follows a literal interpretation of the Bible and hasnt adopted the woke agenda. I was a mild mannered child at home, but at school teachers exposed my sinful nature. The headmaster practiced biblical corporal punishment as outlined by Proverbs 13:24. Despite the physical pain, the shame and trepidation was often enough for me to learn my lesson. If more schools would return to Biblical-classical education, our country would better reflect the vision of our founders.

Dayspring Christian Academy stands above the rest! All four of my children have attended DCA during some portion of their school career. DCA reinforces what we are doing in the home: Training our children to be in the world but not of the world. My key favorites: small class sizes; critical thinking skills taught using primary sources and Biblical reasoning; heavy emphasis on research/writing/public speaking; hearing from people of differing non-Christian views and then debriefing about it; special education services; highly qualified teachers; overnight field studies, including a trip to Israel for seniors. DCA sets the standard for education. Can't recommend enough!

All throughout my years at Dayspring, I was taught how to effectively, efficiently, and thoughtfully write a paper. The papers written ranged from a scientific/research paper to an analysis of a book or even a Biblical study paper. This wide range of experience and practice prepared me for college. When I am required to write a paper for any class, I can write a paper, no matter the length, efficiently and scholarly. Piers and professors have commented on this ability and I attribute it to Dayspring and appreciate all the experience the school gave me.
