        My pup, Benny, and I had just an amazing experience with Dr. March and the team at Riverbend. Benny had been declining after we thought he had fully recovered from pneumonia, and Riverbend took the time to understand the situation and Bennys history before discovering more pneumonia through an x-ray. They then referred him to a specialty care hospital and went above and beyond to schedule an appointment for us, set my expectations (including the costs of further testing), and answer all my questions. Its rare to spend so much time getting to talk to a Veterinarian during an urgent care visit, but Im so thankful for Dr. Marchs care, compassion, and knowledge.

        I'm not typically a review writer but my experience at Riverbend was so exceptional that I feel compelled to write one. My dog had ingested something she was not supposed to and needed to be seen right away. I called ahead and they said to come on in and they could see her before closing. The receptionist was very kind and friendly and clinic is very nice. I didn't wait long before being put into a room. The vet tech that came in was super friendly as well and took all the vitals. I didn't wait long at all for doctor. Dr. March did the exam and xrays. When all was said and done, unfortunately my dog had to be transferred to emergency for surgery but Dr. March explained everything, facilitated the transfer, told me what to expect and was just incredibly kind. She was caring but also has a great sense of humor. She even followed up with me two days later to make sure the surgery went well and said I can call her with any questions or concerns since she is easier to reach than the emergency vet. She also got me the complete records very quickly because she knew I needed to submit them to insurance. I'm actually going to call and ask if they do primary care or just urgent. Such a great experience (despite the reason we were there).
