        They raised the monthly rate without previous notice. I dont agree with that theory to do that to people.

        Our storage costs went from approximately $40 to $130 over a few years--after we moved to a smaller unit. However, the store manager Josh helped us by finding a less-expensive unit for us. He was great, took care of all the paperwork, etc. This seems like the type of business that could be a little more regulated.

        Rent has increased dramatically in the short period of time we've had a unit here with very little notice. Then we were told that we weren't allowed to have a personal lock to keep our belongings secure which considering the premises is surrounded by a large homeless camp doesn't exactly inspire confidence. When we first started renting here it was under 70/mo now they want 140 for a tiny unit. What a joke. We've already found a much cheaper, nice secure facility we'll be moving to.
