Selfishly I dont want to give Amy 5 stars because if she gets too popular I may have trouble scheduling another appointment! : ) In all seriousness though, Amy is amazing. She is warm and kind, but also very engaged and hands on. It wont be the kind of experience where you will be sitting in her office wondering what to say while getting scant feedback. She asks the right questions, is a great listener, and will back up the life tools and guidance she gives you with studies and book recommendations. Its clear she loves what she does, is fascinated by the human brain, and isnt afraid to nerd out on your own brain with you. I couldnt recommend her more. Therapy can be difficult, but Amy can help you find a path to healing.
Funny story, when my husband and I were searching for a therapist he showed me a page with a ton of profile photos of local therapists on it and told me to pick one. I scrolled through the site and was drawn to Amys huge warm smile. I picked her. Apparently my husband had picked out the same photo as well, so that basically settled it. Were so glad we trusted our intuition. Were looking forward to going back soon
