H. Alexander Krob, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Krob for the past few years for chronic migraine. I cannot tell you the number of things I have tried to get relief from this debilitating disease! Some doctors I saw were dismissive of me and condescending. Dr. Krob is fantastic. He listened to everything I said, he was visibly disappointed when treatments didn't work for me, he came at the problem from different angles and it really felt like a team effort to nail this down. Clearly, as with any medical issue, results may vary - but I now have only 1-3 migraines days/month as opposed to 15-20. As a bonus, if you have a dry sense of humor (and I do) this is the neurologist for you.

My wife has struggled with migraine headaches for most of her adult life. After years of being told there isn't much that can be done by those with overtones of misogynist supremacy, she finally found Dr. Krob. He is one of two headache specialists in the entire state of Oregon. Down to earth, highly knowledgeable, great listening skills, and one with his finger on the pulse of the latest treatment breakthroughs, Dr. Krob is who you want to see to manage your headache issues. His support staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

I really disagree with the other ratings. I've had ongoing issues and seen SO many doctors over the years so I've really experienced it all..dr Krob wasn't overly friendly..kinda dry..but that doesn't mean he isn't a good doctor, he was very knowledgeable, explained things to me well, answered all my questions. I thought he was very good.

Dr. Krob is very condescending and superficial. He treats patients as their "trainees" (he literally said that to me). So a visit with him is a like a visit with a bully-type sports coach. Your every word will be questioned and sometimes ridiculed (yes, he chuckled a few times at what I was telling him about my symptoms). Treatment plan that he had for me was a joke too.
