        something has changed this winter. The gravy's/sauces are thin and saltier. The meats are not as tender. Whatever they were doing before swept us off our feet. 2024 however makes us want to stick to our local joints.

        Besides pav bhaji..rest of the dishes were tasteless and expensive..maybe tailored to the local palate..definitely not for desis.. Taj Indian Cuisine was actually better and more authentic..though it was just a food truck..

        Great spot to explore indian flavors in Portland. They have a television playing Indian movies all the time and you are also surrounded by Indian decor across the restaurant and the restrooms as well. We got the chicken kathi roll, pav bhaji and the indian chai. The kathi roll was flavorful, good portion size and high quality and pav bhaji was decent as well. Highly recommend this spot which is also pretty reasonably priced as well!
