Overall, it has been a great experience working with Cascade Solar and team. Tom was exceptional in giving me quotes and design of exactly what I wanted. He was never pushy and gave me a competitive price but never compromised on the quality of panels and microinverters. Nicole did all the paperwork including all incentives and permits with no hiccups. David and his team installed the system in a couple of days and the work was high quality and clean. Their communication was excellent and answered my million questions quickly. Throughout the process, the timing of each step of the job was super quick and from the quotes to net meter install everything was over in 40 days. I wanted to work with a local company for a more personalized experience and they gave me exactly that. If I ever move to a new house, Id put Solar with this company again. Id recommend them to anyone that wants a great quality equipment with an awesome service and price.

I recently had Cascade Solar install an 8.6 kW system in Oregon City, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The sales rep was low pressure, making the decision-making process stress-free. Working with Cascade Solar was great, and their pricing was competitive. Communication throughout the entire process was perfect, keeping me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Cascade Solar for anyone considering solar installation, and Ill likely be working with them again in the future for a battery installation.

Solar is a BIG purchase, but Cascade Solar made it a transparent, honest one with skill on install, flexibility in scheduling, a competitive price per watt compared to most, and access to a lender specializing in green lending at market or slightly-below market rates. They communicated great throughout and the process is more streamlined with them than two other firms installing for different friends of ours were. Our experience with bidding firms was wildly divergent - from that big firm that felt like dealing with a bot, to other mid-tier firms that frankly padded their bids (one firm quoted the same price for final install that we had for CS, but for 60% the array size!). Our Enphase system is performing as advertised and the backup Powerwalls give us a bit more assurance in outages which have become all-too-common in PDX winters. They got us to a reasonable cost per watt installed with high-quality components, took care of the permitting and inspections, and did a final walk-through meeting to test our system performance and make any adjustments needed. If you are considering solar, give these folks a call. There are a lot of shady characters looking to make a mint on folks not doing their due diligence. Cascade Solar is local to PDX and absolutely worth your time to consider!

Tom of Cascade Solar made such a good impression on us when he first came out to do a site check, we signed the contract that very evening. Tom was friendly, knowledgable and informative about all things solar (including the various rebates we qualified for) and patient with our enthusiastic pup :) As part of our solar conversion, we needed to replace our decades old gas furnace and water heater at the same time so there were a few more steps to take than throughout a typical installation process. However, this did not phase Tom or David at all. They were responsive and communicative throughout the entire process, including after they were paid. Too many times, once I have paid a contractor, they have disappeared. This was not the case with Tom and David. They were kind enough to come out to our house once everything was done and had passed inspection to make sure we were completely satisfied with the work and to answer any questions we had. Even though we already knew that we had chosen the right company to install our solar power system, it was a bonus to hear the county inspector say he was familiar with Cascade Solar and had nothing but positive things to say about them.
