After 3 visits this spot really doesn't disappoint! They self-describe as "thoughtful" and I think that's quite true. Real tortillas on the burritos, amazing mole sauce, multiple veggie/plant-based options that are not just an afterthought, and a full salsa bar. I also enjoyed the horchata. Thank you and keep it up!

La Bonita has been a fixture of the Portland food scene for years, and their steady encroachment across the city is a testament to the dependable quality of their food. From highly customizable burritos (why yes, I *would* like hashbrowns in there) to chilaquiles and some of the best jamaica in town, there is something for every taste. They can get slammed, so you'll occasionally have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. Vegetarian options: Veg options for pretty much every dish. Vegan might be trickier. Parking: Since the bar next door got popular, it can be tough to find parking in the limited street parking nearby.
