A minor piece of plastic had come dislodged on the exterior of my car, causing it to collect rain water and grow an embarrassing amount of mold. The dealership I went to referred me to Biosweep.
The Good:
Both Matt and his assistant were very friendly and professional and were able to book my car for a next-day appointment.
My car is possibly the cleanest it has ever been, including when I bought it.
The cleaning only took an hour or two.
Matt was able to give me a solid estimate over the phone.
Matt met me in person and described in detail what I could expect my car to look like afterwards. It ended up exceeding these expectations.
A few dollars' worth of coins and other personal items left in the car were still there upon my return.
It's a small business, so you won't get a corporate run-around if you find something wrong.
The Bad:
The cleaning crew missed a few tight spots (part of the gear shift and the back cup holders), so definitely give the car good a once-over either before or immediately after you pay.
Finding their location is a bit difficult as they have no obvious signage in place, and share their building with another business.
$350 is the flat rate price I was given for mold removal services in my mid-sized SUV, which is nothing to sneeze at.
The Bottom Line:
Overall, Biosweep did a commendable job on my vehicle. Save for the two very small missed spots, my car is incredibly clean and looks brand new on the inside. The price I was given was set in stone, as they take pride in their work and have high standards of cleanliness; so be prepared to shell out the price you are given, no haggling. You'll get your money's worth, I think.
