So glad I went here today! I was working in the area and had a quick lunch break. They were pretty busy at around 12:30pm but my order was ready within a few minutes and was delicious. Like eat every onion piece and lick the paper good!!! I will stop there again whenever I'm in the area.

The food was good, the lady serving was friendly, just a few small details made it a little extra greasy and they didn't do the machete to me like she told me they were going to do!!

Their pork machete is amazing! It's massive and filling, and the hand made tortilla hits the spot. I've had their nachos, tacos, birria and burritos. Everything is flavorful and they don't skimp on filling. I love this spot!

The serving size is generous. The food is authentically flavorful (not like Victoricos or any other chain Mexican food) Chil (Salsa) comes in Two options: Orange Habanero (Hot but not too spicy) Green-very flavorful. I grew up on California Mexican food and I must say Portland is severely lacking in anything comparable to Cali, especially the Chil and overall flavor. I ordered Tacos. The bottom right are Carnitas, top right Pastor and top left Chicken. Tortillas - Bomb! Flavor, soft and dont fall apart when you grab the taco. Chicken- SEASONED and GRILLED, none of that shredded garbage that tastes like rotisserie. Very flavorful. Pastor (marinated Pork)- AMAZING. Flavorful with a tad spice just how pastor should taste. Probably some of the best in the whole city. Not chewy nor fatty either but solid meat with a great taste. Carnitas (Pork) - Soft and not too fatty as many places can be. But for some reason, like many places seem to do, they didnt grill and char the Carnitas enough so they are in the average realm. Had they charred them theyd be top notch but without charring they can taste a little fatty. OVERALL Great choice of real Mexican food. Authentic street tacos and generously portioned burritos! Id highly recommend the Pastor, hands down some of the best Ive had very comparable to authentic Cali-Taco truck!
