Scheduled one hour massage appointment with Aveena Morgan who was hostile the entire session. Apparently she only gives you 40 minutes of massage and 20 minutes of assessment paperwork, whatever that means. This is highly illegal way to practice massage, one hour massage is one hour massage not 40 minutes and the masseuse is not even friendly, at first thought I was being given an interview when Aveena brought me in the massage room, who does this?

Ive been seeing the professionals at Collaborative Care/Sunnyside for well over two years and literally every single individual Ive seen whether regarding general check ups, acute symptoms, LMT, acupuncture, etc. has been nothing short of impressive. Each and every contact made, including everyone at the front desk, has been terrific. My main physician is Dr. Poe and he has been especially thorough, polite and communicative. At times, when I have a basic questions or just want to provide a quick update and receive input, he has normally a virtual visit or a quick phone call scheduled to speak to me within 24-48 hours. Great service and expertise 5 stars out of 5 stars, all earned and well deserved.

I can't give Sunnyside Collaborative and Dr Poe enough stars here. As a medical social worker and therapist it takes a lot to impress me. SCC will be my medical providers as long as I am able to be a patient there. As a patient I have received thoughtful, knowledgeable and genuine care. Dr Poe has a statue on his bookcase in his office which is a symbol of compassion, mercy and love - there hasn't been an interaction with him or other staff which hasn't left me feeling like I'm really cared about and that the clinic embodies those same values. Additionally, I referred my adult daughter to SCC and she's been seen there since 2022. A few weeks ago she sent me a text thanking me for telling her about them because they've taken the time to actually find out what has been wrong with her health which ended up being a really rare condition she's been seeking answers about for years. As a therapist it is important to me that I work in a clinic that identifies a whole person and a whole life - from childhood until our elderly years and not just the symptoms that present in the moment. My very first visit there Dr Poe completed assessments on trauma, child abuse, PTSD symptoms, SBIRT screenings, etc. He was able to see holistically into the systems in my life that contributed to symptoms in my current health. He is just so kind. *standing ovation*

I have a lot of complex long term health issues. Most doctors I have seen throughout my life have dismissed me, or maybe just felt overwhelmed by the different things I have going on that compound each other? I move on pretty fast until I find one that I feel is at least listening to me then stick with them as long as I can. I believe a lot of the issues I have had with feeling heard is because Im a woman. I had gotten to a place where I wouldnt even consider seeing a male doctor until my chiropractor (Sierra Ambrose, who is excellent & also at this practice) suggested several times that I try Dr. Lee Poe. I was dubious but I had been seeing Sierra regularly for years & trust her implicitly. I go into my first appt & meet Dr. Poe, a young Asian man wearing red Converse who looks like someone Id run into someplace more fun than the doctors office. Honestly my first thought was there was no way we would relate enough for this guy to get me. I could not have been more wrong! As a mental healthcare provider myself, I was incredibly impressed by how truly trauma informed Dr. Poe was right off the bat. Mental health is such a huge part of physical health; it baffles me why they are seen as something separate. I have worked with many therapists & mental health programs who advertised they were trauma informed who were FAR less so than Dr. Poe. I have never felt so heard by a PCP in my life. Dr. Poe has helped me thru some incredibly difficult times & is a joy to be around. He is a real human being who allows himself to connect with his patients and I feel truly cared for by him. Not only does Dr. Poe regularly do mental health screenings (this is one of my health challenges), he also utilizes a wide array of tools. He can move between alternative medicine & western medicine & understands there is a time & place for both. For example, I injured my foot & other doctors were sending me to specialists, some did not even bother to look at it. Dr. Poe did a thorough exam & started giving me options. He said he could send me to a specialist but also offered a non invasive option to try right there in the office. I got sub Q injections of something (cant remember the name) & he taped it & it was 85% better immediately! Even if I end up going to a specialist at some point for it, the pain reduction was significant & immediate. Why not have that relief while I wait for the specialist? I have recommended Dr. Poe to several friends & the people close to me all know who he is because I have talked so much about what a difference he has made in my life. Everyone I know that has gone to him per my recommendation has also been extremely happy with their decision. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Poe. He is the best doctor I have had in my life. Im so grateful to have found him!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Dr. Sang Park was a great chiropractic and was very nice, professional, and experienced in his work. The front desk staff were very welcoming and are ready to provide service to you. This is the perfect place to heal your pain.
