Richard Z. Tsai, MD

Dr. Tsai is great. He saw me and my wife as patients and not just a number. He would explain the reasoning for his thinking. Very calming presence when interacting with him. Since moving away, weve struggled to find a primary care physician that comes close to the care we received from Dr. Tsai.

I am sitting here waiting for my new patient exam. The apt. was at 1:20 and I was checked in with vitals taken at 1:18. The doctor had not shown up till 1:50. Not sure this is worth my time. I am walking out cancelling my apt as I post this note... --------------12/27/2018 update---------- As it turned out, i gave a second chance and it worked out great. Dr. Tsai is very knowledgeable and listens well. I have since had 4 visits and worked out great --------. 1/29/2023 ------ I was with Dr. Tsai until moving out of Portland. He is terrific. May be he read my first review , I don't think I had a bad experience with delay since.

Dr. Tsai is the best doctor Ive had, he has excellent communication skills, is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Tsai is an amazing doctor who actually takes the time to thoroughly help you and get to know your needs. I often have to wait a little longer than expected in the waiting room to see him, but that is because he takes a great deal of time to help all his patients.

Dr. Tsai is a great doctor. He actually spends the time needed to find out what is really wrong rather than spend 5 minutes and throw some pills at you. Great guy
