This company is not a company you want to work for as they have the worst management and employees. Our invoice is way over due and they haven't yet paid us. Each time I call they have same answer will get this paid this Friday and how many Friday it's been. If you are a contractor run from this company. Horrible service.

People who hate Vic Remmers and Everett Custom homes would also do well to pay attention to Portland Development Group. This company is just as guilty of buying up old, historic homes, demolishing them with an antagonistic and patronizing attitude toward neighborhood residents and building monstrous, beige carpeted, urban McMansions with cheap materials at lightning speed and sold at historically very high prices for the neighborhoods. These photos are in front of one of their building sites in my own neighborhood. In addition to this eyesore they routinely worked past noise ordinance hours and their staff were rude and dismissive to neighbors who raised concerns. Now we all have to sit and stare at the backs of these ghastly beige suburban homes in the middle of our historic urban neighborhood. Hideous. Zero respect for the character of the neighborhood and its many original and 100+ year old homes. As a homeowner I should be happy that this is driving up the price of my home? Or should I feel angry that many of my long time neighbors are now being forced out of my neighborhood by the increasing costs of rent (and their absentee landlords now wanting to sell for a huge profit), the casual disregard for adjacent neighbor's views, trees, or other livability issues when this monster home suddenly impinges on their view or threatens shared trees. Don't buy from developers like this if you want to be welcomed with open arms by your new neighbors and neighborhood. Or if you’re like the folks who moved into our neighborhood where everyone chats and watches each other’s pets you can just keep up the big “f you” you started by subsidizing this crappy house and hole up in your 6000 sq. ft. with no yard, get high on VOCs from your new carpet and never say hi or attempt to meet your new neighbors at all. Enjoy!
