Great group of Engineers who are devoted to working for the good of the whole, by cleaning up after natural disasters, protecting waterways, and doing endless community projects for the world. Past reviewers please note; When entering the building the lobby front desk or phone monitoring isnt ran by the Corp of Eng. its a public building with multiple company offices. Nor shutting down the boat ramps during Cvid a decision made by the Corp.

The USACE saves tax payers a lot of money, private companies would charge 4-6 times what USACE does to do the same work. The downside would be that it comes at the expense of their employees barely making it by in some instances- but the work they do is consistent and well done.

probably the only place i liked to work in Oregon people where nice friendly and smart the environment is great and its the only thing i loved in Portland

The Army Corps of Engineers closed all boat ramps and resevoirs during the Corna pandemic. People have been fired from jobs and not received any unemployment or stimulus and now we cant fish for our food. I have spoken with a couple people saying I would get a call back, etc.. they have been nice and as helpful as possible but unfortunately doesnt feed families.
