Bau Design LLC

We hired Bau Design to remodel the basement of our turn of the century Portland bungalow. It turned into a transformation. Christof created, from a crumbling wall, partially dug out dirt basement, a beautiful bedroom/bathroom suite, a wine cellar and a spectacular art studio. We are thrilled with the results. We also hired Bau Design to design and build a detached outdoor sauna for us. Again, Christof created a beautiful, well designed and understatedly elegant addition to our home. In all of the work that Bau Design has done for us, attention to detail and craftsmanship shines through.

I had my fully permitted 800 sq foot basement ADU done by Bau Design and am very happy with the results. It was a big project including a new foundation, moving supporting beams, cutout for large egress windows, extended stair case, total house replumbing and electrical, fire rated ceilings/walls, new furnace & duct design, kitchen & bathroom.... I was pretty overwhelmed by the project but Christoff handled the whole thing, from design through execution, like a pro. His attention to detail really showed in the end product. I have received nothing but compliments. He was conscientious of working with my budget while maintaining a high quality result.
