REZIDE DESIGN/BUILD

I have not had a home built by these guys yet, but when I am ready, this is who I am going to use. I have seen many of their homes, and they are really modern and great!

Had an amazing experience working with Rezide this year to build our dream home. Working with Dave & Paula was magical. They went above and beyond for us during the COVID-19 crisis and for that we will be forever grateful!

Back in Spring of 2020, we made the decision of moving to a new home with more outdoor space but close to our current Cedar Mill neighborhood. We looked at many homes across Cedar Mill and Forest Heights but none met our needs of modern interior combined with plenty of outdoor space. We were about to scrap the idea of being in the neighborhood we loved and moving elsewhere in the metro area when we came across Rezide's marketing banners just a block away from our current home! We reached out to their team and it turned out that we were extremely lucky in that they had one lot left that met our outdoor space needs. As we got to know Dave and Paula, our comfort level went up very quickly. They came across as very knowledgeable across the board when it comes to building techniques/materials and of course, we found out that Paula is an accomplished home designer who specializes in modern homes. Given that none of the new constructions in the area met our needs (some of those were modern style), we were very happy to begin working with Dave and Paula on translating our vision of a dream home in the neighborhood we loved into reality! We set about putting our thoughts down on paper and sketching out what our "must have" and "nice to have" features would be in our new home (see attached sketches). We gave these to Paula as a starting point and within a few weeks, Paula came up with two bespoke home designs that captured all of these requirements! What was amazing was the vision and thought that went into these designs because we immediately fell in love with one of them and decided to move forward with building our new home! From there on out, Dave and Paula personally managed each step of the project from permitting, to interior finish design (they provide a comprehensive design portfolio, complete with inspiration pictures) and finalization of plans. Which is where the rest of the Rezide team comes in and they are equally energetic and professional in their approach. Through detailed design consultations, the team really focuses on attention to detail, quality of materials and build, aesthetics and usability. Almost 8 months into the build (see current picture attached), our beautiful new home is now within a few weeks of completion and our family cannot wait to move into this one of a kind, unique home that meets every one of our requirements! We are very thankful for Rezide's role in making our vision and dreams a reality and we highly recommend Rezide to anyone looking to custom build in the Portland area!
