Charmagne Westcott

I've seen charmange once a week for 3 years and she's helped me more than I can put into words. I'm so thankful to have found he as my first try at therapy. I have made so much progress and continue to make leaps and bounds with her help. She really cares and truly wants to understand. It made me sad reading the other review because I have had so much the opposite experience with her. Not one shoe fits all.

[trigger warning: trauma, suicide] Charmagne was my first shot at therapy. She spent most of our time talking about her personal life or complaining about other clients. After almost three years of seeing her every week, she told me she thought I was raised Catholic (my parents are atheists/biologists and also pretty much the only thing I talked about). She consistently denied my experiences, talked over my stories, and told me my traumas were, indeed, my fault. Even if that last part is true, it was unhelpful and I believe was the cause of my first suicide attempt. We also never discussed any of the homework I worked so hard on. It was a complete waste of time. Unfortunately, I would have to recommend literally anyone else.
