We contacted Downing & Caba through Dave Ramseys site. Shelley was quick to get back to us and set up an in person appointment to discuss final taxes on an estate. The office was professional and in a great easy to get to location. She looked over our paperwork just to let us know we didnt need her. She even gave us advice about our own tax return for inheritance and didnt even charge us! We were so impressed with her kindness and knowledge, we wouldnt hesitate to use them again or highly recommend them.

I had to remind them to send me the final approval of my return on the 12th. Of which I received and signed on the 13th (Saturday). Then a couple of months later I started to receive notices from the IRS. They never filed. I was charged $1,800 for not filing on time. They tried to blame me. Then they made an excuse that there was a glitch in the system and they would ask the IRS for a waiver for the late fee but insisted that I wait until then for a reimbursement for the charges that I had to pay in order to avoid garnished wages. Unbelievable.
